Open Cambridge

In early September, Queens' Old Library participated in Cambridge Open Day 2016 (part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme).
Visitors were invited to come and have a look at our 15th century Old Library and its wonderful collection and explore our exhibition 'In Praise of Erasmus: An exhibition to mark 500 years since the publication of his New Testament' (now online here).
Founded in 1448, the Old Library is still situated in its original room with bookcases made from medieval lecterns.
