Blind-stamped calf over wooden boards; rectangular frame made of two similar rolls composed of fine renaissance figures depicting 'Caritas' (a woman holding a child), 'Spes' (a man with a spade), 'Fides' (a man with a cross and a hand-bell) and 'Fortitudo' (a woman holding a large item like a milk churn) (Oldham GE.(5)), and blind-tooled fillets on covers; remains of clasps (only one full)
