Kepler, Harmonices mundi [D.1.9]
In Book V (shown here) Kepler seeks to describe the ‘five figures of the universe’ and their relationship to harmonic ratios. Somewhat immodestly, Kepler claimed that through his Harmony of the World he had offered the world nothing less than the plan of creation, which God himself had waited six thousand years for someone to comprehend.
