The final nine pages of Reuchlin’s treatise on Hebrew accentuation and spelling contain a Hebrew text and chant set for four voices in the style of Christian music of the period (the musical notation runs backwards together with the Hebrew from right to left). Reuchlin’s careful use of fermata signs bring out the meaning of the text.
