The Afterlife of Medieval Music Manuscripts
Read More2 / 11
This late medieval fragment includes a part of the hymn, Deus creator omnium, sung at first Vespers on Sunday and one Saturday afternoon in the weeks between Epiphany and Lent. It also shows part of Libera me, the ninth (and last) Respond at Vigils of the Dead. These items occur in the latter part of the liturgical Psalter (either a separate book, or part of an Antiphoner) of Sarum Use.
