English (Cambridge?) binding, 16th century

Blind-stamped calf, frame formed by crossing roll-stamps composed of capstans, a cherub's head and foliage, and signed "ZC" (Oldham. Plate X, no. 39), vertical strips formed from roll composed of a bird, a wyvern and a rabbit (Oldham roll AN.h(1a)), flanked by strips of a border of flowers and a curling stem (Oldham roll FL.d.(1)); remain of claps and staple holes.
